I've become something of an Instagram addict over the past few months (yes, I know, another addiction - I have a very addictive personality), and had lots of positive feedback following my last The Week That Was post. So I thought I'd combine my love of photo taking (and sharing) and my week, and channel it into a weekly feature.
I've included a linky if you fancy joining in too. Please do! I love being nosy and reading what everyone has been up to. The "rules" are simple: Link up a photo post (Instagrammed or not) about your week. You can include products you've reviewed; the only exclusions are photos that are inappropriate, so no racism, bullying, homophobia or sexually explicit pics please (although I wouldn't expect anyone to post these anyway!).
So last Sunday was the BabyExpo event in Brighton, for which I was the VIP Blogger. I had a great day taking photos and chatting to exhibitors - you can read more about it on the BabyExpo Blog. I was given this amazing Mia Tiu bag in my goody bag (thanks Chelle!) and do you like my chevron nails? I'm a bit late to the party with chevron, but I'm starting to get rather obsessed with it!
Monday was thankfully very quiet! I was supposed to meet up with my Mutti, but she rescheduled to Tuesday, so Busby and I had a day together chilling. I feel like I've been overdoing it recently with various blogging events, so it was good to have a wind down day.
I also visited the Chiropractor after a free back check at the BabyExpo event, and apparently my neck is bending the wrong way... Can I now win the lottery so I can afford to see him for the amount sessions I need please? Thanks.
We saw my Mutti and went to our local garden centre. Busby and I had fun walking around sniffing the various flowers, and I found some inspiration for our wedding flowers, which you can read about here.
Wednesday didn't start so well... We had a visitor in our bed from midnight as Busby's second tooth decided it was going to break through. On the plus side, she slept for a lot of the day, so I found myself updating and turning my Pinterest account into something beautiful. I also found lots of pinspiration, and am going to be making Busby some funky bits and bobs.
Oh, and my awesome Blog Planner arrived! The review and a chance to win your own personalised planner will be on the blog tomorrow!
Look at my sexy "posh" cheese on toast! Nom!
We go Baby Swimming with the lovely Wardrobee and Herb every Thursday; Busby continued to improve with more underwater swims! Less buoyant bottoms this week!
Snow is falling, all around me, children playing, having fun etc etc. On the hottest day of the year so far I found myself in London with the BritMums gang at the Tesco Christmas in July event. I love Christmas (that's an understatement right there), so I was very excited (another understatement)! I got to chat to some lovely product developers and fellow bloggers, whilst sipping on Pimms and bubbles, and eating cheese at 11am... I know I've said it a thousand times, but I love blogging!
When I got back from London, Nick, Busby and I headed to our local park for a picnic. In my slightly tipsy state I had ended up in M&S at London Victoria Station and bought some tasty picnic goodies! Also, a big thank you to Tesco for the small bottle of Cava in their goody bag - it was just the right size for our picnic!
On Saturday I met up with some lovely Brighton Bloggers for a picnic in Pavilion Gardens. The weather was stunning! Below you can see Busby making Laura from Chambray and Curls, and Lyndsay from Fizzy Peaches very broody.
When Busby and I returned home we were greeted with a very tidy house and a lovely, cold glass of Pimms! Thank you Nick! Just what I needed after being on a swelteringly hot bus with some very smelly dogs.
I'm also taking part in the #fmsphotoaday: July challenge on Instagram, where Fat Mum Slim has given us a list of words and we have to take photo using that word as a theme every day. So far it's been great fun!
4. Red, white or blue
6. Fave smell (cut grass and old books - if that's not obvious!)
What have you been up to this week?
